YFC accomplishes it's mission through several holistic outreach programs.  Right now we are in phase 2 which includes our launch of a city-wide mentoring program (City Life), an aftercare location (Project SafeHouse) for our youth re-entering our community, and our summer camp program (YFC CAMP).

JJM® seeks to engage young people as they are met in a variety of youth-serving institutions (detention centers, probation, correctional facilities, group homes, residential treatment centers and emergency shelters).  These valued relationships are sustained through ongoing involvement as they re-enter their communities.

We currently provide chapel services and Life Skills to the Tulsa County Juvenile Detention Center and reconnect with you on the outside.  In addition, we work closely with probation and also go into several of the tulsa area junior high schools to visit with youth who have been identified as at-risk and high-risk.  Furthermore, we are launching our aftercare site in downtown Tulsa, called "Project SafeHouse".

PROJECT SAFEHOUSE® is Tulsa's Aftercare program model for our Juvenile Justice Ministry.  It includes a creative arts program, in downtown Tulsa, that was founded by City Director K.T. Johnson. K.T. is a 3rd generation musician who has always used music as an outlet. His dream to have a safe house started in 2005.

Project SafeHouse has the potential to give young artists and other city missionaries a platform to use their talents in a very positive and impactful way. This is also a great way to teach our youth job, life, and social skills. Click here to hear City Director K.T. "Hallel" Johnson's music.

CITY LIFE® is an effective ministry model to transform the lives of urban youth, their families and the communities that they live in. The City Life model provides a strategic way to pursue every young person in urban communities all over the USA.  We hope to plant a City Life community center in East Tulsa, in the very near future.

PARENT LIFE® reaches expectant and parenting teens and their children through intentional relationships with trained adults and community partnerships, empowering the teens to make good choices and encouraging them to further their education and move toward independent living and become life-long followers of Jesus Christ. We hope to add this as an extension to our Juvenile Justice Ministry in the near future.

YFC CAMP® makes it possible for our inner city youth to experience an amazing summer camp while forming a stronger bond with our ministry leaders. YFC CAMP creates an environment that invites God to transform the lives of young people through shared experiences, outdoor challenges, and times of solitude that draw students to the heart of God within the context of authentic relationships and memorable learning experiences.
